Hi Jim,
Unfortunately, the TextAssist programme that uses Prody Parrot is inferior
to the original and uses a different type of speech. For some reason,
Creative Labs stopped using the Dectalk speech. I do have Prody around here
somewhere. My grandchildren played with it for a time.

set up your skype, or goldwave first it don't matter really, you may want to
set the recording to unbounded if you want to record with out a time limit.
f11 for this and tab through the options.

You can use CDex to re-encode your .wav files to mp3, and you can get it
from www.jfwlite.com

other players. It is not a player in itself, though it does include the
Windows Media Classic player. However I, and most other people, use Winamp.
If you're using Windows Media Classic, I don't know how to jump. If
Goldwave version 5.09 is now available from www.goldwave.com.

generation of technology will be recording on solid state memory cards. the
audio files created on these cards can be transferred directly to a computer
and played, like other digital audio files. no more real time
