Hi Nick,
First, there's no reason why you couldn't move the files to the hard
drive after you've recorded them. I don't however know if the recorder
has only a mice or whether it also has line-in recording. Assuming it
does have line-in recording, then you should be away. You could feed

Subject: set files for gold wave
Hi, I'm helping a friend to learn gold wave,
Alex, thanks for that mate. Which prog should I use for this, and what
software is most blind friendly. I 'm using Jaws 5, and Windows XP Home.
Again thanks.

Hi Steven,
You don't say what screen reader you're using but all of these fields
read well for me using Window-Eyes 4.5 service pack 3. I had to
reclass some of the controls but that is about all. If you're using
JAWS scripts for Skype are available at www.panix.com/~ccn/index.php

I want to burn two cds on one cd. Some tracks run in to each other, so I
want to be sure to keep them that way. How do I burn one, then the other,
then finalize. It keeps wanting to finalize after the first album. Thank
you.

PC-Audio List Help,
When in the burn wizard tab over to the finalization dialog box and change

PC-Audio List Help,
Hello. You can record your blues show from the radio to the archos. I used to record
my soap operas that way all the time. LOL! I love it. We have also recorded stuff from
the radio.

hi guys, do you have to number Music tracks before burning
I have the 15 gig recorder. I never could get rockbox to talk for me when I loaded it.
I became very frustrated with it. I would hit the menu and record would be the first
choice. I had someone set it up for external in the menus and that is what comes up
when I choose record. I just hit play
First, no matter how many times I set volume the play control volume keeps
going to zero instead of staying at 50%.
Second, when the PC is turned up (even a little) there's a bad humming sound
and Jaws is distorted. I checked my speakers and it doesn't look to me like
there's really a short;
could it be something in your soundcard?

Graham,
In the SF6, after selecting the noise you wont to apply on the whole sound

last I knew though, you can't put the mp3 files on to an mp3 cd so that you
could listen to it in an mp3 player. last I knew, unless I am going on
outdated information, you had to use there software to play the files. am I
in error?

The books from audible are not mp3's, but you can use goldwave to convert
them to mp3's. Audible uses its own file format, but Sarai is right,
audible is accessible, so long as one knows how to navigate forms and use
one's screen reader's access features.

Wrong and fairly wrong. The books are not MP3's, they are encoded, so
that they can't be played on most MP3 players. You used to be able to
convert them to MP3, but not now, because of the latest version of
audible manager.
Audible manager is fairly accessible, though sometimes you have fun
and
what is the latest version of sound forge and what are the new features and what other
plugins and things can i get to go with it what updates are avaible for sound forge

We sort of had this discussion, and because audible books are
copy-right, Geoff the list owner won't let us discuss this on the
list, he can't really.
Officially you're right. If anyone wants more information, you'd
better email me off list, at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and we can discuss it
there.
