What do you mean by "loaded the Rockbox Software"? Do you mean you just put
the ajbrec.ajz (archos.mod for the player) in the unit, or do you mean you
tried flashing the unit with rockbox.UCL? If the former, try attaching it to
the USB port of your system and turning it on. Is it recognise
Try the obvious. Instead of alt-p try tabbing to preview and using the
spacebar. See if it does the same thing. Also before going into the
processes at all, play your file by pressing spacebar in SF andsee if you
hear anything.

I use a Triple Talk Internal on my XP machine and a Double Talk Internal
on my Win98 machine. Using a 20 old stereo receiver, I, up until this
week, had no problem feeding the output of my speech card and the sound
sound cards to that receiver and then resending it, via the headphone

Try going back to the site and get the revised version of the demo. The
earlier one gave Window-eyes fits with all of the screen refreshing, but the
latest version is better, if not perfect.
