wav files to MP3 format. Can you tell me how to do this?

Hello All, I am just starting to use Gold wave program now so please forgive

Hi, Susan, first, which type of cd do you want to burn? Nero defaults

Marty,
I didn't realized it defaulted to ISO and thought I had made a mistake. For
some reason JAWS didn't seem to be reading through all the options as I was

You're working too hard at this. When Nero comes up, make sure you have the

I think, that a VCD consists of AVI files. One can convert AVI files to
audio with the River Past audio converter (www.riverpast.com). A DVD is
a completely different animal with much more storage space.

Hi all!
I have some cassette tapes that I'd like to transfer over to my computer. I
need to know exactly what kind of hardware and software I'll need to do this.
Do I need a special tape player or just a patch cord? I heard that goldwave can
be used to do the actual ripping, but is there
Try changing your output in Winamp preferences. You might have Directsound
output, you could change to waveout. You can also change the directsound
output fading settings.
Also, the repeat rate of your keyboard may be to high for Winamp to keep up
with the current output settings.

Hi Jonathan. Well with CDex, I can rip music CD's to MP3 format from wav.
I use the Lame encoder. Other than that, I don't know if a wav file is on
the harddrive, how to convert that to MP3. Maybe somebody else can be of
more help with this. I'm sorry I can't tell you more.

You could use a patch cord with 2 rca pins on one end and a standard earplug
jack on the other. The earplug jack goes into the computer, and the rca
pins go into the outputs of the tape machine. After that, you will need
either Goldwave, Sound Forge, or a similar program which will let you
