Hi Gary, If you have GoldWave, you can try this with batch processing. It's found in the file menu. I'm not sure if it supports this file type, so you will have to look and see. If you don't have GoldWave, then I would do a Google search for: m4a to mp3 R Q J - Original Message - From:

You mentioned that you have goldwave. Can't you make a copy of what comes through the soundcard? Then clip the beginning. Peter -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dana S. Leslie Sent: August 22, 2005 7:45 PM To: PC-Audio Subject: Editing

Hi Dennis, Simply changing the file extension does not change the file to that format. In order to change the format of the file, some type of converter will need to be used. GoldWave may be a good tool for this. R Q J - Original Message - From: dennis [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio

Sorry, Dennis, but that doesn't work. When I change the file extension from m4a to mp3, the file won't play in Winamp. I didn't try editing it (as an mp3) in Goldwave. Does anyone else have any other ideas of how I might edit this m4a file? Thanks. - Original Message - From: dennis

Hi Scott. There's only really a few standard reasons why this wouldn't work: 1. Your CD player does not play rewritable discs - many older players can't 2. You burned the disc as an MP3 disc and your CD player does not support these discs - many CD players only play audio CD's though there's

Denis, Peter, I'll give that a try, and see how it works. Once I've cut off the beginning, I can save it again as an m4a, using goldwave; can't I? I want to keep the format the same as the rest of the tracks from this album. Thanks. Blessed Be, Dana D. S. Leslie, née C. R. Guttman Email:
