I think that it's great that you provide free scripts for people to use.
Those really help when it comes to use a good program.

Far be it for me to say but what a negative message. Rather than say and
don't work that well, Why not just write to me off list, and thoroughly
document what the problems are. That is the only way things get improved
you know. It is not a great incentive to produce free scripts just to get
back that kind of response. It could well be that they do not function
with a particular jaws version for all kinds of reasons, or some aspect of
the software has changed. In the scheme of things those scripts are quite
old now.

The URL for those particular scripts incidentally is

Re: Itunes question

2009-01-10 Thread Samuel Wilkins
Hello Garry, you have to create a playlist to burn songs to. To do this, go
into ITunes, press control N or select new playlist from the file pull-down.
Then you can name the playlist. Then you need to select the songs you want
to burn from the music folder and choose add to playlist in the context menu
for each song. Next you will have a list of playlists to add the songs to.
Select the playlist you want to use. After that, just select the playlist in
the main ITunes window, press the context menu key and choose burn Playlist
to disk. You will have some options to select such as whether you want an
audio or data CD, whether you want all the songs to be the same volume and
whether you want CD text included. Press enter on the burn button and it
should burn. Hope this helps.

video problem in winamp

2009-01-10 Thread Joy Tilton
Okay, I'm using winamp, which is my preferred media player, and I'm having
difficulty with mpeg files where the video does not move along with the sound.
Furthermore, a lot of times winamp will perform an error when playing an mpeg,
or it will freez up if I try using any of the transport controls in winamp,
such as fast forwarding and so forth. Unfortunately, my new tv program I just
installed -- WindTv 2000 -- only records in mpeg.
Any ideas?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a good freeware program that will automatically
split audio files into equal parts? I like the option of by time or
number of parts. I have goldwav, but I see no way to have goldwav mark
the file into equal parts and then split into individual files. I know I
can manually mark the points in which to split, but I have several files
I wish to split into about 100 parts and don't want to manually mark all
of those.

Thanks,
Jason

simplified broadcast softwear for streaming

2009-01-10 Thread Bob Seed
Hello everyone:
I am looking for an accessible streaming broadcast softwear package that is
jaws friendly. I find that there is simply too much information on the windows
player that I will not be using. As I will only be streaming audio information
files all that I want the schedualler to do is to play the lineup of
information that I put into it in a sequence. As the information package will

I am seriously considering an iPod Nano and I have a few questions about

I want to rip my CD's to a lossless format. What lossless format does
iTunes support?

I have already ripped some of my CD's to WMA lossless format. Can iTunes
import Microsoft WMA lossless? (I bet not likely.) Fortunately, I can rip
the CD's again if necessary.

What is the file extension for the native Apple iPod format? Will Winamp
play this format?

Thanks for any help you can offer.
