I'd be interested to know how any of these netbooks work with Sound Forge or Sonar. I wouldn't expect much but would be nice if one could do live recording and some audio editing. Maybe the Samsung with it's turbo mode could even handle some soft synthesizer plugins. Bob Jonathan Mosen

Hi The asus eee pc line has some good netbooks too. In particular, the 900 ha, with wireless on, skype and windows live open and doing things, and using speedswitch xp and eee super hybrid engine, I get about 4.5 hours on a charge. with skype shut down, wireless off, I average 5.5-6 hours. Thi

Let me make a few comments here. I have used the MSI, HP MiniNote, the Samsung NC10, and the Dell Mini 9. First let me say that I was totally disappointed by the Dell Mini 9. The keyboard is too small, keys are crammed together, and a number of important keys are missing or have been moved.

Yes, but from those who have tried this unit, the concensus is just those who are probably not using any screen reading or magnification technology so to me its not valid points. The NC10 does not have by any stretch of the imagination a 96% keyboard or it would be the best seller. Stephen A. G

Problem playing .cda format

I want to convert .mp3 back to audio to listen on my car audio player. I attempt to do this in Nero 5 and get a.cda extension which only Nero will play back on my computer Winamp 5.35 will not play. I don't see a .wav format selection to choose from. What AM I missing here? Thanks Jim Jonathan
