Hi listers,
I have a strange problem in playing some wave files.
I use windows 7 and this is the only operating system I have this
problem with.
Here it is: if I play stereo waves it all works fine, but, if I play
multichannel waves, like 5.1 or so, they don't play and I get an error
saying
I didn't pay attention to the Plextalk model number. I think I must have been
sleepy.

Tim the PTR2 and Bookport Plus are totally different hardware.
The Bookport Plus is the same hardware as the Plextalk Pocket, also known as
PPT1.
I would agree with Jim regarding going to file type which is one tabe over
from the filename box. Press the letter a for any file and shift tab
twice back to the list of files. They should be visible.

Hank,
Basically you can't use pandora directly withh Jaws or Window-Eyes. You can
However, use it with Serotek System access.
If you are willing to pay $36.00 per year, you can get better quality sound
(192kbps) and you can use a desktop application which makes it easier to
change stations.
But if you want it to always recognize that file type it is better to change
either in control pannel or in the options dialog of windows media player.
thanks

Ok. I have a windows 7 machine and I'm running the latest beta from audacity.
The only problem, so far, is I cannot record my line-in combined with my front
mike. I've checked and unchecked different properties in the sound pannel. I
can record one or the other.
Any ideas?

Hi Folks:
Is there an installation package out there for installing HSC on a windows 7

Do you know how to find Jim Snowbarger's HSC page, on the web? You might
find your answer there, although I personally know very little of Hot Spot
Clicker, myself! I think there is a link to that page, on his Soundforge
page, if you cannot find it any other way. Use a search engine!
Until the email I saw the other day I had no clue about an audio+podcasts
folder.
