Its about $4-500 new -- I bought it many years ago and kept upgrading the thing. Version 6 first started the dongle and version 7 and onward is available for both Windows and the Mac. I tried version 8 on Windows 8 briefly, but got no place at all, and now I am not allowed to try the Mac one.

SR does not as such make daisy recordings, but it correctly does the heading levels 1 through 10 where daisy goes up to level 6, and the program which makes daisy books, Book Wizard Producer handles the levels from studio recorder and makes them headings for all the levels you wish. -- Curtis
