Well this story has a happy ending for me: I did get rid of Quicktime (the video was delivered last night; turns out I wouldn't have needed Quicktime after all of that! It comes up in Winamp, but only plays audio! But VLC definitely will play the video! Now I wish I could find a blind-friendly v
