Hi!
I'm setting up another Windows machine for someone who wants to stream
media files from the machine to DLAN compatible devices, in particular a
Surround-Sound Receiver.
I'm no expert when ot comes to the DLNA side of things and I know this
topic does come up on the list from time to
Hello Listers,
I don't believe I've seen this covered. I have quite a few minidisks and wish
to copy them as MP 3 files. A number of devices can be used to do this, such as
the Victor Reader, second generation.
This is fine, but I'd like to take this a step further. My disks have perhaps

Hi!
Just in case some didn’t know, there are some very good clients around that
make Pandora accessible and easy to use if you’d rather not navigate the web
site.
For Windows try the Hope Pandora client at http://q-continuum.net/hope/
For Mac try the Mus Pandora Client available from the Mac
Hey guys
As the subject line says, as of this past week for whatever reason,
Tapin Radio has suddenly started to crash on me when performing a search
by typing something into the edit box on the main screen. For example,
when I type a station's call letters, a dialogue suddenly
I think some of the Olympus models might be able to help you there if you’re
thinking of doing the job in an automated way but then again the question comes
up, is it really worth spending a couple of hundred dollars just for that when
you could say connect your Minidisc to a computer’s line in
I used to use Nero as far back as Nero 7 and loved it, but versions after
that became very bloated and inaccessible. Is the latest version accessible
again?

Thanks Dane, I think I may have a go at this. I've ignored WMP up to now,
but as Winamp is no longer being updated I'm starting to think about other
options.

There are a lot of people out there still using Winamp but the time will come -
if it hasn’t come already - when those people are going to run into
difficulties.
I’ve been playing with WMP for the last few days and I’m quite surprised at the
flexibility of the player, in fact I’d go so far as
In the beginning - a very long time ago - I too used Nero but I found that it
had problems when reading CD’S so a couple of people who are in the “Ripping
Game”, then put my on to Exact Audio Copy which was written by a computer
programmer who loves his music.

Hi again!
I was prompted to post to the list thanks to a question I received via private
eMail which wanted to know some of the features that made Exact Audio Copy
stand out from the crowd of CD Rippers.
One of these features is the Accuraterip function, more information on this can
be found
At last! I’e found an accessible Audiophile type player for the Mac, its not
freeware though there is a trial which is available at the link below

Is it possible to use an SB Audigy ZS 2 soundcard in a windows 7 64 bit
machine?
When I had the card installed and booted up the computer, I got an error
message saying that windows was unable to install device drivers for the
device. I then went to the creative support site and downloaded a
from what someone said the people that bought winamp should come out
with a new version soon, hopefully later this year.

Hi Chris and all,
Chris, thanks for your message. Unfortunately I don't have a solution to
your problem but I'm having a similar problem with TapinRadio that
started recently. Your message helped confirm the fact that I'm not the
only one having this problem.
For me though I now get similar

I have had the same problem over the past few weeks. I can't get it to play
at all and can't browse stations in different genres. I am using the version
for Windows 8.1. I also tried to contact them several times with no response
and am not sure where they are based but I think its in Europe.
