Well, maybe they did not update the stations in your region, but they
do update them often. Perhaps you should rather applications key on a
station and report the faulty streams. Or rite to the support address.

I agree, the only thing why its kind of important that it support aac

Actually the person who put me onto the “Background Recording” feature saved me
heaps of time and many of the problems discussed in the last couple of eMails
were solved.
For one thing, your browser doesn’t have to remain open, Total Recorder handles
all that and you can read your novel with
Hi!
I recorded this for someone else actually so thought I’d make it available to
everyone.
This is an audio sample taken from the Sangean DPR25 portable DAB+ radio, its a
stereo unit with 2 speakers, headphones out, line-out and line-in for external
devices.
It has a pretty decent sound for
This is the first Podcast I’ve done in a while, sorry if the audio quality is
slightly lacking, been a while since I used the Zoom H1 recorder and forgot the
format switch was in the MP3 position but no matter, you still should enjoy and
get the gist of the Podcast.
Quick question about TR, if I may interject.
Does it have the facility to move through a recording at slow speed -
what in analogue parlance you might call rocking the spools?
I'm of the old school of editing - chinagraph pencils and razor blades -

A good interjection sir smile, yes indeed it does though it doesn’t have
a”Cue/review” scrubbing type of feature that you might find in say Goldwave, it
can however fast-coward and rewind through audio and you hear the audio as
you’re going forward or back.

I have Total Recorder 8.2 with JAWS 11 and Windows XP Pro. TR is working fine;
recording streams and stuff. However I must have VOX turned on because
recording stops on quiet passages. Anyone know how to turn VOX off and record
everything? Thanks.

I assume vox is an driver spisific feature? I ask as I don't see it on
my side. Probibly you use one of the older drivers wich are working
better with xp, so I cannot really comment on that as I'm on windows7
with the latest 8.5 with the curnel filter driver.

Hi all
Received this radio today from
www.argos.co.uk
it's a DAB/FM digital radio system. The product is quite accessible even
without speech. Once you know the basics like adjusting the volume and
selecting a station it's a piece of cake. Of course changing settings,

I listen to much, I think the Sangean DPR25 has a better sound to its
speakers. It doesn't have all the functionality of the model you

Hi there!
My reply to the original post didn’t come through so I’ll try again.
Rather than fiddling around I suggest your first port of call be the Total
Recorder web site, I’m willing to bet that this topic will be covered in one of
the FAQ sheets there.
