That's right. The amp I've got my eye on is the technics SA 1010, because
it's rated at 125 watts, but that's concervatively. People who've used this
amp say it can do 150 cleanly, and it can connect an equaliser witch I hope
to get in a twenty band version. For speakers I'm thinking paradigm
what kind of stuff are you looking for for your vintage stereo that you
are wanting to build, are you looking for valve/tube componients and the
like? also what kind of speakers are you going to want to use with this
vintage stereo set up are you planning on going totally analog?

It's not a problem.
I purchased another set of Klipsche Pro Media 2.1 speakers and I'm happy
with them. (smile)

I did want the klipsch promedia set, but those you do pay more. For what the
price is of these logitech speakers they do the job until I can get my
vintage stereo built.

I went and looked this up because I thought I remembered the sub being a
unique size. This is just a piece of the review from Maximum PC (URL below):
The Z623 is a 2.1-channel system equipped with a 200-watt amplifier that
delivers 35 watts to each of the satellite speakers and 130 watts to the
It's an eight I believe. The thing I love about it is that I can have three
sources connected including the computer.

I believe you meant the Z623 set of Logitech speakers, right? If so, what
size sub does that set actually come with? I believe it was maybe 7 and a

had a ten inch sub. It's a fully 5.1 set of speakers though and I just

The TV does have a talking setup.

If you want something for under two hundred, the logitech z653 set is a good
one. I've got one, and it's better than anything I've used. Where most 2.1
sets are only forty watts, this set is two hundred.

So that one can navigate channels, look at the program guide.
Does it also allo allow access to things like Netflics, etc.

Don't believe I seen this thread come through or I just didn't follow it,
but you can also convert .M4V format using GoldWave once again with either
iTunes or QuickTime installed, you will just need to simply rename the

Hello again Brian and fellow listers,
You can convert m4v files and others quite easily by going to:

GoldWave will convert these. You will just need either iTunes or QuickTime
installed to handle the proprietary Apple codecs. What format are these
shows in by the way?

Brian,
What file format are these files in? There's a video converter known as the
free video audio pack. Its quite interesting in the way you access it. You
simply download it and to open the program, all you have to do is click on
the .exe file you've downloaded and then

Hi
Something Chris has just written concerning Audible prompted me to write
this.
I've recently bought a series of TV shows from iTunes for my wife, and we'd
like to convert them to MP3 as we do with our DVD's. I spent hours trying to
get SoundTaxi to do it, but it just doesn't work properly and
Hi
I can't say that's ever happened to me, nope. Pretty much every
inaudible conversion i've ever done has worked flawlessly, every time.
Thanks.

I'm using the Kodi screen reader on my Windows PC but as you mentioned, it
