The latest recommendations coming from the winamp for the blind list is to
install real player 10 or 10.5, windows media player and winamp 5.05.
All co-exist quite nicely these days and each can be configured only to
play
what you want them to play.

I have a question regarding real player 10.5
How can you read the name of the clip being played and the bpm on the main
application window? I could do that with realone and other prior version.
Is there something to do to jfw or is there an update on scripts or something?
Thanks

Hi, Doug.
If you install Real Player 10, you must use that for playing Real
content.
If you want to play Real content with Winamp, you must install Real
Alternative and the Tara plug-in. This is the only way to play Real content
with Winamp that I know of.

Hi.
If you have uninstalled Real Alternative, and don't have Real
Player, you cannot play real content. You need either to reinstall Real
Alternative and the Tara plug-in, or to install Real Player.
If you install Real Alternative/Tara, I'd suggest getting a program
like Quickmix
