I just noticed that when you specify "white" or "#ff" in Tk on Mac OS X, you actually get "#fefefe" for "white" and "#f5f7f7" for "#ff". I am assuming is this some kind of automatic gamma correction to make things match the other platforms. Anyone have any insight on this? .hc
