Very nice. It seems like it would go with the pd bear animation that
was posted a while back.

I forgot to mention that vibrez_pure (http://vibrez.net/vibrez_pure)
contains a high-resolution math library (hr) with many objects that use
two-float lists to represent double precision numbers. There are both
message and signal objects. If double precision (about 15 decimal
digits) is enough
That feels like many emails rolled into one! :)
Definitely sounds like an interesting idea, but I don't quite follow
it all, perhaps you can make a sketch of how it would work.

This is what the vertex_array objects basically do. The vertex_model object
opens up a .obj and then passes the vertex, normal, texcoord and color data
to other vertex_ objects for processing. The speed is pretty good - better
than standard geos - but the better route is to use shaders. Shaders

Mine's in Pd this year,
it seems to be a bit better playing around with -audiobuf and other
startup flags. thanks for tip, i assumed it was something to do with the
PD version I was using or something like that.

i've been getting the same message everytime i fire up Pd-0.40.2, so
it's definetly not extended-specific. it never caused me any problems

I am curious why the vertex_array objects are disabled by default?
Shaders are not exactly easy to learn, so it would be nice to have
your vertex_array objects as a more accessible, visual alternative.
Mind if I enable them in Pd-extended? Are they in a useful state?

Fun stuff. The demo patch is missing the _ from the object name.
I added it, and it worked fine.

I got my first sketch of the [sql_query] object working. It should
