How'd the application submission go? Did you get as many mentors as
you'd hoped?
Unfortunately the March 24th-30th window is exactly when most of my end
of term projects are due so I'd like to get working on my student
application this weekend with hopes that the mentoring application

I am probably half way between Tokyo and where hardoff resides :)
I also go to Tokyo (not for gigs.. unfortunatly) quite often and would
love to know if you have any contacts other than e-mail while you are
here.

you could easily convert relative time to absolute time in pd with a few
objects around [qlist] for playing. vice versa, it should be quite
feasible to convert absolute time to relative time for recording with
[qlist]. i don't quite see the need for an external here.
Yes of course the

Can anyone give me a step-by-step guide to making this work?

I'd like to build a performance interface in pd for controlling chuck in

Is such a thing possible,
I just submitted it with 10 mentors, we should be able to add more

Biased towards Linux, because that's what I use, might work on OS X and

On a related note, I just bought one of these very nice controllers
called a gametrak. It is basically like two 3D joysticks but instead
of sticks, it has strings which you can clip on to things to track
them in 3D. The cheesy promo video gives you a good idea of what you
