This is puzzling me.
I've been using [div] as the equivalent to

[int]
But I just noticed while scrolling in a number box that they aren't the same
when the dividend is negative. In the source for [div], I see this before
doing the division:
if (n1 0) n1 -= (n2-1);

It seems that, at least with my version, dssi~ doesn't like dssi
plugins..
Any ideas what I should try next?
Thanks,

I just took a look, and it looks like I broke the DSSI

Do you want freeverb~ implemented in pure pd (no externals) or the
freeverb~ external?

Hello to all,
This is the first time I write, and it's just because I'm having a
minor problem with the latest two versions of Pd (Vanilla). When I

I was getting the same with 0.42-2.

menu_new_dir:

- updated on every File - Save As to that dir
hi,
can somebody explain why there is a 3rd rule of $-expansion: 'there is
no $0 in message-boxes'.
i stumble every now and then about it and it is IMHO not
self-explanatory. it is not hard to implement and wouldn't make problems
with existing patches - because $0 is never used in messages.

I think you need to install Quicktime, then it should work on Windows.

You could also try the lately nighly, I think it now usable, though
there will probably be some bugs. It would be good to start testing.

The following is from an implementor's viewpoint, not a user's
viewpoint, so be warned :)
I don't know why, but it makes parsing Pd patches 1000x less
Hi Claude,
thanks for your explanation - i got your point, but this 2-phase parser
is (must have been) already implemented in Pd. So, where do you see a
problem in expanding/replacing $0 in Phase 2 - like $1 etc. (with that
special fixed value)?

How can I escape the space character in a symbol
'\' is forbidden in pd... so what's the alternative ?
It looks like ' and are also not allowed...
Cheers.

Currently, there is no way to do an escape. There is some discussion
about trying to implement a quoting method that would allows
spaces...
I attached an example of how you can convert a list of symbols (and
numbers) into a single symbol, which would include spaces. It depends
on an external from
