I'm working on quite an involved patch using the msd library and for some
reason it just doesn't work happily on Puredyne.
So for example, the '02_msd2Dadd' example when loaded gives a stream of
error: msd2D - link : Index not found
messages out of the console.

I just opened the hid object in ubuntu 10.04, without running pd a root, and
much to my surprise it works flawlessly with my gamepad.
Is the ubuntu distro just getting insanely awesome or what? I can use HID
