Hey Flad, another possible way is a vocoder of sorts. You extract the
fundamental frequency f of the harmonic sound via sigmund~, and assign the
series based on f as values to a set of filters (f, 2f, 3f nf) through
which you play the non-harmonic signal.
Good luck,Eran

Hello list, I'm looking to for a gui that will help limit the movement range of
an autopanned signal between two adjustable values in a 360 degree speaker
array.
Is there something a range knob anywhere on PD? Like Max's rslider, but on a
knob. a knob that allows to select a certain range of
Hey, this is really informative. Thanks William!

Hello João,Take a look at example 06 in William;s tID, which does timbral
ordering of small grains quite similar to what you are describing. I was really
happy with what I got, but I had a vaguer idea in mind... William, is there a
way to choose certain descriptors for the reordering? Or to

yes csound6 should work on windows too as far as I know.

Alexandre,Making harmonic sounds sound inharmonic can be down with spectral
shifting. Try looking at Hilbert~ or at spec2_shift~ on extended.
But Jaime, I'd also would be interested in that. A few years ago I tried to
replicate the technique that Trevor Wishart refers to as Spectral Focusing,
oops, I messed up the names. sorry. Once more, with feeling:

Hey Man,AFAICT, [maxlib/scale] on extended is the equivalent of MAX's [scale].

Wow Jamie,
This seems like something for which I've been waiting for ages. Amazing job!
I have tested it with windows 7 Enterprose 64-bit and it works great.
Can't wait to delve deeper into Integra...

I'm no expert, but sounds like Mid-Sides could give you what you need, no? then
you can get rid of the Mid and voilà : sides. There are plenty of tutorials on
how to do that.
Or no?

Alexandre,
that will be great - looking forward.
pvoc~ is part of Eric Lyon's FFTease lib, along with a number of other
nice phase vocoder objects like harmonizer, spectral compander and the
very awesome spectral wrap.
HAve fun,

Hi, I've seen around this listed in a few pages as a pd
To (partly) answer my own question:
pvwarp~ in FFTease can do this; it applies different multipliers to
different partials.
However, the determination of the actual warp function seems somewhat
elusive. Has anyone had any experience with this external? It sounds
great, but I can't figure out how
Hello list,
Let me separate this question from my previous post:
Does anyone know how to make a non-linear spectral stretch in pd?
I'd like to transpose a sound so its spectrum is not equally transposed.
I played with ssb-modulation which perform spectral shifting, but I couldn't
figure out how
