The problem you are facing could be really due to the different structure of
both modules.
And the amount of ev_pro-modules you are using in your patch.
If you want me to have a quick look on your patch, maybe answer me and attach
the your patch to the mail.

i think it would be helpful, if you could attach the abstraction.
also, it would be helpful to know, where the abstraction (convert.ascii)
is from, as it seems not to be part of pd-extended.

i recently ran into a somehow similar problem.

its think it tells pd to use wdm wich is an older video driver
then select input .
it's not perfectly stable sometimes ..

It has been a long, but productive time since our last release. Tons of
new features and fixes wait for being discovered by

there is an external called strtok that helps you getting rid of characters.
