I think you could enjoy using [path] from "tof" library (Help > Find
externals). You can choose the path from the abstraction or from the
patch which loads it.

I've noticed a little mistake in INSTALL.txt : "sudo apt-get install
build-essentials ..."
should be : "sudo apt-get install build-essential ..." without the "s"

When I download list-abs package with Deken, the path is not added in
.pdsettings.

The [clone] object is really nice to use and to understand. It helps me
to organize messages from parent to children objects, and balance
between cord/cordless messages.

abstraction could be local '$0' connected only with the first upper
level. I wonder if cascading [receive] and [route] objects would be less
efficient than connecting once objects together but compute them 50 times.

i *think* that the best way to achieve this is to allow a
library/framework to run some code when being setup. for me the
obvious place would be the "-meta" file (Gem-meta.pd) which has become
the de-facto standard to add meta-information to a library.
