Thanks heaps for your comments guys!
Cory, it is funny you should say that actually! I was going to post
yesterday, when Herb etc were debating about PDML'ers who don't shoot enough
etc. Currently,I shoot about 20-30 rolls per week. Of this, 1-2 is "just
for fun", 15-20 are for work,

I can tell you from experience Sylwek, having your own bundle of joy to
photograph whenever you want is MUCH MUCH more expensive than any of the
current digital SLRs. You could certainly get a Medium Format rig for less
as well.

Beautifull children and shots Tanya! Gotta think about at least one of
this small gizmos :-) Just another reason to take more and more photos :-)

Sounds like you're using the battery grip. If so, leave the batteries in
the camera. That's the way it's designed to be used.

This brings a question to my feeble mind. How many musicians do we have
here on the list? I know there are a few guitarists, and, if I'm not
mistaken, a conductor. I play trombone in our local community concert band,
and have been a member there for 11 years.

I find the results from the 3200 better than my old HP S20.

On Tuesday I took an objective lens to pieces to find out why the pictures

Initially the only batteries I put in were 4 NiMH in the battery pack and
left camera empty...everything normal.
Then I put another set of NiMH in Camera (so now 8 batteries). Shooting -
everything normal...but come time to download,
get battery depleted message.
Remove either set, everything
Just got my subscription issue and it has a nice big section on flight in
it with some beautiful pics in there plus a cool poster highlighting 100
years of air hardware. Knowing some of you guys are fly-boys (and girls)
you might like to obtain a copy if you don't already get it.

Very light weight, and the S4 now has 4 MPixels. . .
I really like the Pentax compact digitals, easy to use, great quality.

That's a tough one. If it's a hair it's removable. A crack is not. Too
bad it will probably cost money to find out for sure. Good luck.

Tried to unload it through eBay with first bid at 35 USD - no takers. It is in
excellent condition. Does anybody here want it? Make an offer, I really want to get
rid of it.
All the best!

Just out of curiosity, do you think it could be a crack in one of the inner
elements? Another thought is that it could be something that should be
against the side of the barrel, but has come loose. I have only watched
lens repair, so I am not an expert, just thinking out loud, so to speak.
