I can tell you from experience Sylwek, having your own bundle of joy to photograph whenever you want is MUCH MUCH more expensive than any of the current digital SLRs. You could certainly get a Medium Format rig for less as well. Cory Waters has two kids and LOTS of photographs of each. - Ori

Initially the only batteries I put in were 4 NiMH in the battery pack and left camera empty...everything normal. Then I put another set of NiMH in Camera (so now 8 batteries). Shooting - everything normal...but come time to download, get battery depleted message. Remove either set, everything

Just out of curiosity, do you think it could be a crack in one of the inner elements? Another thought is that it could be something that should be against the side of the barrel, but has come loose. I have only watched lens repair, so I am not an expert, just thinking out loud, so to speak. Davi
