That was it. I took it apart again, and with a lot of effort and the
help of a rubber grip, the ugly stepup ring has been removed. Yes, it
has a 49mm filter ring just like any other 1:1.8/55. Thanks to everybody

Some times PhotoShop's File Browser will make PEF thumbnails and display
EXIF info and sometimes not. I can't figure why or how to make it develop
