I was doing some servicing of my tripod and head and needed to find out
how something came apart without destroying it. Found this excellent
set of pdfs of Manfrotto parts. Works via model number; sub directories
are for things where the model number begins with that number/letter.
A beautiful scene. The dramatic sky is a big plus.

the netherlands. The meadow in front grabbed my attention with the
pink Pinsterbloemen (Cardamine pratensis). The K20D had a hard time
capturing the soft pink. It needed a lot of lightroom power to display
the pink.

Hey all.
On May 1st, an open house was held at our new fire hall. James was
helping out, so i went to see the place and grab a few photos. It was
a heavy overcast day and the rains started 1/2 after i got there, and
every one scattered, so i only managed a few photos.
I suspect the strong lighting makes it more difficult to get the
delicate pink color. I really like the yellow flowers scattered
throughout the middle of the pink ones. I wish the lighting was a
little softer - I don't think that helps the pink either.

I'm making some home repairs. Squirrels have got into the attic again
I'm having to repair the hole they made in the fascia. Several days ago,
I had the basement door open in the back to run extension cords outside
for my tools.
I saw this little guy scurry under a bush outside the basement
I would have cropped the LHS a bit.:-)
