I used continuous shooting with my K-x for the first time for a while and it
takes a couple of shots then pauses for a few seconds then takes 1 more.
It's the same with JPG, DNG and PEF. Is there a setting I could have changed
accidently to slow down the shooting. It's much slower than it was

Well, after cleaning up Stef's new 1D, it's obvious it needs a good
service but hey ho, as and when. One of the mirror box foam bump-stops
was hanging off and the other one was on the way out. What to use
instead? Quick internet search and some wag detailed how he used draught

sold a rare vintage Takumar lens over the weekend JUST in time to find
a deal on a 1150 shutter-activations Stormtrooper K-x kit. I love my
K200D, but it will be on the block soon in order to recharge the ol'

there are more parameters/constrains than just lpi:
the maximum aperture, the minimum aperture (which becomes important
for the small sensor sizes, - as you end up getting diffraction),
performance at different apertures,
