The club I belong to, The New City Photographic Society, has an annual
exhibition which takes place in Newport Pagnell, a market town on the fringe
of Milton Keynes. It's a great way of engaging the community and attracting
new members.
My 2 pictures from the PDML annual were selected, along with
I for one, care more for the last picture. Better waves.

Cropping in itself won't add noise. But if one crops to a smaller
image area and then upsizes the shot to the previous dimension, any
noise that was in the original will be magnified. Also if working with
jpegs rather than tiff file copies, recompression could leave some
