Believe I prefer the one you identify as having a better sky.
I can't, however, get past the blue-gray rocks or the slightly sepia toned sky.
Obviously not all monitors or rods and cones will see it the same.
BW might be preferable.(?)

Having been there myself, I have only one basic observation that is
not meant to be a critique or negative... e.g. don't feel bad because

The image, in any tone, color, sepia, gray-scale, does not capture the
ambience and natural beauty that fills that area. IMO,
