Interesting. I tried the free version to try & revive an HP2400 scanner.
It wouldn't work properly (parts of scanned pages were blank) so I
contacted Mr Hamrick who asked me to conduct a couple of tests & forward
the resulting files. He informed me that the scanner had croaked! Hard
to get serv
I have been on Linux for more than 10 years.
Never had a single problem with VueScan.
Mr. Hamrick answered my occasional messages in a timely and helpful manner.

Yes it can take a while to sort through that many images when it's not
the norm. I have three shows to edit currently, consiting of 2477,
2901 and 2000 images which I need to get done before Christmas, I wish
they were travels shots ;)
