Been taking a few photos for selling some stuff on ebay and my K-3
started making some really strange rattling noises. Gave it a freshly
loaded battery and took the lens off and put it on again. Happened once
more and then everything returned to normal, at least for the time being.

Probably taken by marauding African swallows, who bury them at the foot of palm
trees as an over-winter supply. It’s quite common here to see flights of
African swallows circling over the pier at dusk in large murmurations, laden
with overripe carved pumpkins, sometimes one in each foot.
