I am trying to use a 135mm/f2.8 manual focus lens on my MZ-S
It fits on ok and when turned on, all seems fine, and I can still use
the dial to set the shutter speed, however, I cannot use the light
meter as it is alway lit up on the bottom of the scale eg

I have a very low light situation and was going to use an
ilford 3200 but then I though, why not use some of this
Fuji 1600 color film I have in the fridge and set the MZ-S
to 3200 manually?
Any pitfalls of doing this? I can apprciate more grain but
can live with that.

Just an addition to this thread is the e-film technology.
In short, (e)-film is a roll of film that isn't really film.
It is a digital image capturing device that fits into
your existing 35mm SLR camera body.
It works just like 35mm film, except that there is no film. The

So a visit to the big city resulted in my car being trashed and
my new (christmas) MZ30, 28-200 APO, 75-300 APO
2X APO convertor, Metz CT-45 Flash and a host of other
filters and gadgets all gone.
Insurance will pay up to $350.00 if I pay the $400.00 excess.
OK, it was an expensive lesson...
