Wide opened, the 77 beats my 85/1.8D, and overall the 77 has more '3D' look than the Nikon. So the 77 is harsh for portrait, but superb in general. Andy Chang took me to a Pentax store in Taipei (thanks Andy!!!) and I got a 50/1.4 FA. After some testing, I must say this is one sharp lens (just
