I picked up the camera today. Issue fixed.
From the transport labeling I gather that the workshop is located in
Germany, not Belgium. However it doesn't say where.

There is no label from the repair shop in Germany. It has been
repacked in Oslo. However the description says the repair was
performed by a company called Tritec. Some guy at Pentaxforums is
pretty sure it's this place: http://www.tritec-service.de/ Which is
located in Vechelde, just west of
Fowa in Italy also offers a 48-hours repair service for the professionals
using the 645D (lending a backup camera in case of longer repairs).

matte screen position. There was a mismatch between viewfinder focus
and AF focus. The AF was correct, so it took me a while to realise
there actually was a problem. It was negligable at normal focal
lenghts, noticeable at 300mm,
