I just discovered what appears to be a PCMCIA slot on my Dell 1505. There
is a little black thingy that is currently in the slot that pops out and
seems to have a couple of ridge like projects that are apparently guides for

You all have probably heard of wearing algorithm or something similiar.
It's an algorithm that try to use every cell of a flash memory instead
of writing/deleting always on the same few.
This is needed because flash memories wear out with the use.

you can see the contents in Windows Explorer, but can't access them. If
this drive has one, try setting the switch in the opposite position.
