I already have an FA 20-35 f4, so I was looking for something that would
do better . The 20-35 is good at the wide end when stopped down to f8 or

I'm really glad you posted about using this lens for shooting the milky
way. As it turns out the trip I'm taking up north in a couple weeks puts
will put me literally about 2 miles away from a dark sky preserve at the
tip of Michigan's thumb.

I love that lens. I don’t use it a lot, but it is perfect on the wide endfor
car interiors. And at 30mm, it’s a nice landscape lens, capBle of capturing
plenty of detail.

In many ways, that lens was the biggest reason for me to buy the k-1, in order
to get an angle of view, speed, and sharpness that I wouldn't be able to match
in aps.

not have the chance to take it out and around much, but this link has
three photos taken this afternoon, two right after un boxing and one
