Thanks, Ann! I probably mus-used the word outtakes. I meant that since I
had not yet reviewed the shots from the woods, the ones I was posted
were just the first that I grabbed. Not necessarily the ones I will go
with. (I still have 800 exposures to look through)

Thanks, Frank. I really understated the amount of damage done - mostly
because we were on the fringes here. Lots and Lots of people are still
without power (low last night was 6 F / -14C). We are hosting family
tomorrow since the planned hosts are without power still.

Thanks, Bob. I have high hopes for the shots from the woods - the light
icing on the trees plus the fresh snow made a great combination.

Thanks, Rick. I wanted to capture the feel of the soft light in the

Beauty from an event that has otherwise caused much damage to human structures.
Funny how nature is mostly okay with it.
Wonderful gallery!

The woods I visited had been spared most of the ice storm but a nice
little snow fell
You said outtakes - I don't think you meant that, did you? The 4th
one,the vertical is really yummy, Mark. And all your usual first rate
stuff. I'd have loved to ahve seen those woods.
