disappointed because on my New Computer (a laptop) the colours looked

bit too bright in comparison to my calibrated monitor at home. And your shot
looks just a wee bit too bright. In other words, it appears to be well
rendered. Interesting shot as well. God work.

The face is lovely, but the blow-out crown of the hat
against the blown-out sky is not. I would suggest
cropping out the top 1/4 of the pic (hat crown and
sky), and maybe even the right 1/4 or so.

It's a nice enough snap which might lend itself to tighter framing.
Exposure seems a bit over. The blown out areas and the slightly washed out
face detract from what might elevate to a well executed photograph, worthy
of inclusion in a series in a travel magazine or brochure.

Well done. A nicely composed portrait and a good compromise in a difficult
exposure situation. You could probably bring in some more of the burned out hat
with the shadow/highlight or curves tools in PhotoShop. A little highlight burn
in might help as well. But I like it as presented.
