I found that feature very useful when doing small pictures for Ebay.
I have no flash stand to make good pictures and the integrated flash

Pictures were acceptable with bith RTF and wireless 360FGZ.
Of course Pentax should bring back the flash on the side like on
Amen!! The lighting when an external flash is bounced
and the pop-up is used for fill is just great.

My NZ-S wireless was done on a somewhat limited basis and, for whatever
reason, was free from failure. Possibly due to low area lighting.(?)
It's an option I'll be quick to install if and when available.

Did someone mention, awhile back, that Pentax was considering a program
change to the K10D that would permit wireless flash operation with
either a 360 or 540 which would be triggered the on-board flash?
Something like the wonderful MZ-S?

Someone did mention it.

The 'wonderful' *istD does that too. I can tell you in practice that
it is hit and miss. I used to use it when doing fill flash during
daylight for weddings and portraits. Problems that I encountered were
that sometimes it would not fire the main flash - it seemed to do with
how bright it was
