I think (other than MF, as you mention) that Leica is the exception that proves the rule... The Leica came quickly to mind, probably because I'm a Leica shooter, but there's also the various Voightlander models, the Mamiya 7 rangefinder, the Bronica rangefinder, Rollei's rebadged

The beauty of MX is that only very few things could go wrong if well taken care of, even after 20+ years. The problem is usually associated with old grease and dirt jammed the mechanism, a sign of the lack of regular maintenance. Most dead or poor shape MXs were caused by impact or water
