I had the 100/4 bellows lens in K mount. sweet lens on the auto Bellows and
also worked well reversed on a 200/4

What you really want is a lens optimized to have a flat depth of field.
Pentax made one - a 100mm for a screw mount.

Macro lenses are better for this use as JCO notes, and enlarging
lenses are also good choices, but you can use non-macro lenses too.

length extension tube but heavier. The helix drive Pentax ones are
great but hard to come by. Alternatively, I still have two Novoflex
