My whole understand of DOF has been enlightened

#1. DOF is directly tied to the opening of the diaphram. This is the major determiner
of DOF.

I have a bottle of 'slow' fixer for just such an occasion. I bought it
by accident.

Just in the middle of the weekend and about ten films to develop, I
discovered that my hypo "had just one too many rolls". The few last dev.
negs are streaked - underfixed, and the control strip of exposed but not
developed film took 6 minutes to clear! Should be 2 minutes at max. My, my.
