When I booted the PC this morning, there was a message from Adobe
advising that an update was available for the Flash player. Like an
idiot, I installed it.
Then, when I tried viewing the video that Bruce posted ('The Boss'
thread) all I could see was a static image. Later

IIRC Paul, the last Security Update -10.7.4 - was to fix the Adobe Flash
vulnerability for Macs.
Brian, I know zilch about the Windows side, but my iMac Adobe Flash was updated
30 May, I have seen no problems. Sorry, I tried with File Info but am not
finding a version number on the update.

Thanks for the feedback.
I decided to uninstall Flash Player entirely, then I downloaded an
earlier version and installed that. Things are now back to normal so
there's no doubt that the latest update of Flash Player broke things
on my system, at least. My wife also installed
