28mm is actually normal on APS-c. To get to wide angle you need at least 24mm. Now the K 30mm f2.8 is better optically than almost all of the 28mm lenses Pentax made. There is a 28mm M/A at f2.0 and a K version with a different optical formula. God knows what those sell for they are pretty
