frame, shoot a roll, or two and focus or rather
reflect on what it is about this brand name - Pentax
and all its accessories and lenses that make us want
to use it more and more.

Well put. I have found that there is a joy and satisfaction to
approaching photography in a very deliberate manner. Using finely
crafted equipment and manually controlling the process has a sense of
satisfaction that I don't get when I run in an auto everything/zoom

Absolutely, as far as the PUG is concerned, you don't have to be a
member of the PDML to submit...

Seems to me that miniature Cottys and Archers have submitted recently, and
with wonderful results, too! What a great way to encourage young 'uns to get
into photography! Which reminds me: I gave my 20 year old a Pentax IQ Zoom
for her birthday over the summer - time for the old man to start
