PESO: Big Red

A Cardinal high up in the White Oak. Shot with the K-3, DA 150-450 and DA 1.4X converter. I went to this combination so I could shoot from my deck while recovering from surgery rather than setting up out in the yard as i’ve been doing for years. The K-3 gives me the FOV of a 945mm lens on a

Thanks Rick. I think the head is just a bit noisier. It was in shadow and required quite a bit of dodging. The K-1 is less susceptible to noise and may be inherently sharper. DOF would be very shallow here as well and I’m shooting at a tilt angle of 60 degrees or more so the head is at the back
