Now
Welcome to digi-world,Frank - just remember to leave it set to manual focus
all the time so that you continue with your time-honoured signature style!
Now you'll _have_ to spend more time on the computer - might as well read
the PDML while you wait for stuff to happen...

Frank,
Since you came out of hiding I may as well too especially because of your news.
Congratulations! I guess I can loan my spare *ist D to someone else at NPW on
GFMtn... of course a set of lenses will always be available for use on the
mountain.
As for myself, I have not been shooting much

Well, while I do have a digi-p&s, I have been offered an Omega D2V which
I will pick up next week. That means the Graphic will get some use, and
maybe the MXen too.

Frank as a friendly gesture of one Digi-Fellow to another I can send
some black tape across the pond, if you'd like ;-).
Now, be sure to show us pictures!

Welcome D-knarf!
I'd better suggest you to spray-paint the whole thing instead of taping
it... what about glossy white?

The 18-55 has a 52mm thread. A step-up ring should do the trick.

Get your own effin' tape, Frank. In fact, in keeping with your colorful
bike riding attire, why not get a bright coloured tape. Gaffer tape comes
in bright colors as well as Pro Black.
Hey, that's great - it's a super camera and the lens is surprisingly good
for a basic, low cost, kit lens. A
WTF!
:-D
Congratulations Frank.
