HI Ann:
I love abstract art, and I think the found collage is a nice start to an
interesting experiment, ann. I say go for it, and Bob W.’s point is well made;
for a calendar there will be challenges, but challenges that can be over come
to be sure—especially with your capable eye!
Cheers,
I have several calendars in my head swimming around... the abstracts,
another NYC calendar in color , West of the Divide (but that requires
mainly slide scanning) another cat calendar, a nyc black and white. and
I need to do ebay :-(
I have 6 to 8 of the found collages that were found
It is rare. It's working for me today.
I see you added two more to the gallery. I like the little bird.
Or maybe it's five more since your original post said 27 ... the last
one when I was having problems was #29 now there's 32.
Anyway, I like the sparrow.

I like him too - I bet he begs a lot in that area and so not so
skittish.. that shot was the 5th frame as I moved closer to him.
Yeah - I just decided to pile more into that very recent gallery to
back up , in a way, what I like to remind me I have it

I especially like 4 tables, but most of all #4 is a wonderful Aaron
Siskind style shot and really works for me.
Excellent, Ann!

Maybe a bw would look good.
MIght have to redo in more interesting light - I like the orange.
Ship, I can't see much in it.
I liked the geometry - agree it isnt a stand alone

On Wed, Nov 13,
A nice set. I like the shot of the tables, but it might benefit from slightly
wider framing. (Of course if you were shooting with a prime that may not have
been possible.) I also like the juxtaposition of the Empire State Building with
the foreground architecture. The ship details don't do much
I particularly like the tables. That scene has a tremendous sense of other in
it.
And I like the poster shot ... yes, a suitably designed calendar based on that
theme would work well.
Lovely stuff, Ann! Good to see you getting out there. :-)

My favorite is #1 the four tables. I like the colors and symmetry, and
it may also work in BW. I also like #3 with the buildings, very well
seen!
