I guess since the Sears 50/1.7 was thrown in with the Spotmatic and now
(in)famous Rexatar 300/4.0, all for $150.00 I can't really complain.

It's hard to say, as Sears lenses are rebadges that came from different
manufacturers at different times, so the same lens (say 135mm F2.8) may
vary a lot between samples. I know the lenses were probably made by
Albinar, Ricoh, and Chinon - and likely others. There is a 135mm F2.8 lens
with a M
