John,
Taking a guess here, it sounds like you may have a Tamron Adaptall
lens with the m42 adaptall mount attached. (You could get a KM
adaptall mount to replace the m42 adaptall mount and save yourself the
need of an m42 to K adapter.
If it is an Adaptall lens, it is probably either a 22A or a 40

Maybe the difference between 1:7 and 1:4 is not that much? It should
probably give you the closest focus at the wide end in macro mode if
it allows that. Some lenses will only lock into macro at a particular
focal length.

And those Sigma HSM are incompatible with pre-K100DSuper/K10D AF-wise.
Oh, also to note that since a couple of those Sigma are 35mm lenses,
they will cover 'FF' format but... will not be able to AF with ANY
camera but K100Ds/K10D/K20D/K200D anfd later.

Pentax have suggested that some future DA* lenses might not be

ring motors for at least some lenses.
My bet is that it won't happen for a couple of years, though.

Silly to ask, I suppose, but if it was mentioned on the B&H website, I
would have thought it would have been priced.(?)

Yes, I am interested as well. Will just have to wait and see what come

I have mixed emotions on the Sigma products. I own their P-TTL flash
for the Pentax and it is not up to snuff but does work. I have had
three of their lenses over the years and have not been happy w

I saw this lens mentioned on the B&H website. Any idea about price? It offers
a stop more then the upcoming 60-250 Pentax lens, so this might be an
interesting lens.

Kevin,
I've used 2 of the Tamron 28-200mm. The first was labeled 171D (if I
remember right), I bought it off ebay for around $50, and the second is
a 571D, bought from KEH for about $60. I got rid of the first when the
outer element got some play in it and it turned into a soft focus lens.

Hi,
I bought this zoom without the lens hood, it's Lens # 19AH, dunno
what's the # of the hood, but it has outer bayonet (meaning it
bayonets to the inside of the lens outer barrel). The hood would
really help - anyone has for sale?
Thanks

Hello.
Someone (whose enquiry was "mislaid") asked about a replacement cap for a
Tamron 300mm F2.8. It turned up on our delivery from Japan. So, whoever you
are, we have it for you.
Kind regards
