I’m taking a photography course at the Fleisher Art Memorial, and this weeks
assignment was to shoot something we’d photographed before, in a new way.
So I dusted off my fisheye lens.

It turns out that the GPU in my trashcan mac is no longer supported, and GPU
acceleration causes weird
Two of the images in last month’s PUG are burned into my mind - I can’t stop
seeing them!
John’s Eclipse was just a masterwork in minimalism. All other things equal, I
think I prefer eclipse images where the sun is just emerging out of the shadow,
but still John’s image is just about as good
I opened the image in Photoshop, drew quite loosely around the tripod
head with the lasso tool, then edit/generative fill and clicked fill
with nothing in the dialogue box.
If you do too tight a selection Photoshop will screw it up, it needs
surrounding detail to create the fill so you need
Bill care to let me in on how? I’m now using PS 2024
All my attempts agave failed miserably
